Multiple Pathways of Recovery
6-Hours
This 6-hour training, developed by Friends of Recovery NY and is a "core training" for the recovery field. It is offered live or virtually via Zoom and is facilitated by Best Practice Trainer and InUnity Trainer Registry Member, Deb Rhoades. For Zoom training, participants must have access to both audio and video connection and must fully participate.
This Rhoades to Recovery Training is approved by InUnity-NYCB for CRPA and CARC Continuing Education renewal hours and CARC Elective (Initial Certification). It is also approved by OASAS for CASAC, CPP and CPS Renewal Hours.

This 4-Hour training was developed by Friends of Recovery NY-Theresa Knorr, Reggie James, Revision Inc. and Dr. Tawana Rosier-Brown –TRB Connections/ Exponents and offers participants the opportunity to explore many pathways of recovery and to explore strategies that support the individuals we serve in exploring recovery pathways for themselves.
Goals and Objectives:
- Discuss why knowing and honoring multiple pathways of Recovery are important.
- Discover, explore and discuss our own biases, and misconceptions around multiple pathways
- Be able to name at least 5 new pathways of recovery
- Be able to name at least 2 strategies to support multiple pathways of recovery, especially when differing from our own
